Midnimo Microfinance joined the launch of the IFSPS program, which aims to expand access to Sharia-compliant financing for Somalia’s productive sectors.
On 2 November 2026, we joined the Somali Microfinance Association (SOMMA), the Somali Bankers Association (SBA), banks and development partners in Mogadishu for the launch of the Inclusive Finance for Somalia’s Productive Sectors (IFSPS) program, hosted by Mercy Corps.
Funded by Sida and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), the program aims to expand access to affordable, Sharia-compliant financing across Somalia’s livestock, agriculture, fisheries and energy sectors.
